Sean Fleming and His Band have a
loyal, multi-national following around the United States. Fleming's musical
influences are celtic rock and Irish traditional culminating in some dynamic
original compositions. According to the Irish Voice's Brian Rohan, of New York
City: "On the stage, it is evident that Fleming is one of the last of a
thinning breed, a versatile, chatty showman who can play anything and get even
the coolest of crowds up and dancing....His wiry intense frame attacks the
mike....... and a truer showman could not be found.....He's totally at home with
a guitar around his neck, and with a crowd brewing at his feet. As
a musician who has had records of original Irish Folk and rock based music
produced here and all over the world, you can be sure that there is an Irish
radio program somewhere in America playing his music." Sean frequently
appears in concert at Festivals like the Southern Florida Irish Festival (put on
by the Irish Cultural Institute), and in Washington D.C. at Ireland's
Four Provinces, where owner Mr. Christy Hughes calls Sean Fleming "his
favorite band". Frequently, patrons stand in line over an hour just to hear
the band. Frustrated patrons waiting to get in have been heard saying "You
would think he was Bruce Springsteen or something, but it's definitely worth
it!"
